Who we are

Who we are, and what we put in writing.

Plumma is based in Bologna and builds Plumma Connect, a Network Signal Orchestration layer running in more than 35 countries across four regions.

Principles

What we hold to.

01

Checkable reachability

The reachable footprint is the union of every path under contract, so it grows without the client renegotiating anything. Every statement about it names the operators, or names the percentage with the base it is a percentage of. A percentage without its denominator does not ship.

02

Attribution per call

Every answer names the carrier that served it, the specification version it ran on and an identifier you can quote in a support ticket or an audit. A claim about who answered is checkable in the record rather than in a sentence.

03

Documentation before the review

The data flow per command, the retention position and the sub-processor list exist before a reviewer asks for them. The difference is between describing an architecture and handing over the document.

And the one thing

No money from the suppliers

No rebate, no volume kickback, no marketing development fund, at any size. Where a supplier will not permit per-call cost disclosure to the client, the supply is declined and the gap is declared. That costs coverage, and it is the decision that keeps the rest of this coherent.

The credential, with its qualifier

GSMA Open Gateway channel partner, May 2026 cohort.

Plumma is a GSMA Open Gateway channel partner, named in the programme's May 2026 cohort. More than sixty parties hold channel partner status worldwide, and in the May 2026 cohort Plumma was the party working Italy. We state it with that qualifier because the alternative is an exclusivity claim, and the GSMA's own partner map would contradict it.

Written about elsewhere

Two outside accounts, neither of them ours.

The GSMA's own programme page records the channel partner appointment and what it covers in Italy. API Evangelist read the interface rather than the pitch, and wrote about how the layer carries CAMARA's vocabulary without putting its endpoints in front of a customer. We link both because a reader should be able to check the claim against somebody who does not work here.

Everything a supplier onboarding form asks for is on this page and repeated in the footer, so nobody has to request it.

When something breaks

A post-mortem with the data, inside seventy-two hours, under the founders' names.

Routing layers fail. Operators change a version without notice, a supplier has an outage, a normalisation rule turns out to be wrong for one edge case.

Ask us the vendor questions in writing.

The ones we think every vendor in this category should have to answer, ours included. Our own answers are on the pricing page.
