Terms of use
The terms on which this website is published, and how the figures on it should be read. Last reviewed 7 October 2026.
01
Who publishes this site
What you may rely on when you read these pages, and what you may not.
This website is published by Plumma S.r.l., registered office Via Corsini 21, Fellicarolo, 41021 Fanano (MO), Italy. VAT number IT04209450362, Modena company register REA MO-451932. The full entity details are in the footer of every page.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not, the remedy is to stop using it.
02
What this site is
It describes a service. It is not an offer capable of acceptance, and nothing on it creates a contract between us.
Prices, plans, licence editions, coverage and command availability are described here so that you can work out whether a conversation is worth having. What you can actually buy, in which markets, at what price and on what terms, is set out in the order form and the agreement you sign, and where that paperwork and this website disagree, the paperwork governs.
The pricing page says in its own words that the figures on it illustrate the shape of an invoice rather than quote a price. Treat that as the rule for every number on this site that is not labelled with its source.
03
How to read the figures
We publish figures about coverage and capability because a vendor who will not is asking you to take their word for it. They come with conditions attached, and those conditions are part of the figure.
Coverage is counted per operator
A country is not covered because one operator in it has launched something. Where we state a percentage we state the base it is a percentage of, and a percentage without its base is a mistake on our part rather than a claim you should rely on. Two different things are described on the coverage page, each labelled: the markets reached through the supply beneath the layer, and the countries where at least one operator has launched commercially, which describes the category rather than us.
Everything is dated
Operator launches, API versions and market counts move, sometimes within a quarter. Every figure carries the date it was true on. A figure you read a year from now is a historical statement.
Designed is not the same as available
Where a capability is marked designed, in build, or on the roadmap, it does not exist yet and you cannot exercise it. We label those rather than leaving them in a feature list, and the enterprise and pricing pages say which is which.
Third-party data is theirs
The coverage map and the Italian API table are read from the GSMA Open Gateway deployment record, which is published by the GSMA and not by us. We cite it and date it. We do not warrant it, and where it is wrong about an operator, it is wrong on their page before it is wrong on ours.
Customer results are reported by the customer
Figures attributed to a bank, a transport operator or a fintech are what that organisation reported to us about its own deployment. We have not audited them, we say which sector and geography they come from, and they describe that deployment rather than predicting yours.
04
The service has its own agreement
Nothing here governs the use of Plumma Connect. Registration, accreditation, the service levels, the data processing terms, the acceptable purposes an operator permits and the commercial terms all sit in a separate set of documents, available with the service at connect.plumma.it and provided in full before anyone signs anything.
If you are a client, those documents govern your relationship with us and this page does not.
05
What is ours
The text, design, photography, footage, diagrams, code and the arrangement of them on this site belong to Plumma S.r.l. or to the people we licensed them from. The name Plumma, the Plumma mark and Plumma Connect are ours.
You may read, print and quote reasonable extracts with attribution and a link, which is what we would want anyway. You may not republish the site or a substantial part of it, present our material as yours, or use our name or mark in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist.
Other companies are named on this site, including mobile operators, suppliers and programmes. Their names and marks are theirs, and naming them describes a fact about the market rather than claiming their endorsement. Where an operator is named as having launched an API, the source is the GSMA record, dated.
06
Machine-readable use
The site publishes llms.txt, llms-full.txt and a page at /ai that states every figure with its base and its source. They exist so that an answer engine quoting us quotes the qualified version rather than the headline.
You are welcome to read them. If you build on them, cite the date, because the reference page is the part of this site most likely to have moved since you read it.
07
Availability
We make the site available as it is. We do not promise it will be reachable at any given moment, that it is free of errors, or that it will stay the same.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that Italian law does not permit us to limit.
08
Links to other places
This site links to the developer documentation, the GSMA, press coverage and other third parties. Those sites are theirs. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they say, and a link is not an endorsement of everything behind it.
Their privacy practices are their own, and ours stop at the edge of this domain.
09
Governing law
These terms, and anything arising out of them, are governed by Italian law.
Where you are acting in the course of a business, the courts of the district in which our registered office sits have jurisdiction. Where you are a consumer, you keep the rights the law of your country of residence gives you, including the right to bring proceedings there, and nothing here takes those away.
