Legal

This site sets no cookies.

No analytics, no advertising, no third-party embeds, and nothing stored in your browser. Here is what that means and how to verify it. Last reviewed 7 October 2026.

01

This site sets no cookies

Which is why you were not asked to agree to anything on the way in.

Not one. No analytics cookie, no advertising cookie, no preference cookie, and no cookie of our own.

It also stores nothing in your browser by other means: no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no fingerprinting. You can open the storage panel of your browser's developer tools on any page of this site and find it empty.

That is why there is no consent banner here. A banner exists to collect permission for something, and there is nothing on this site to permit.

02

Why there is nothing to consent to

Under the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Italy, and the Garante's guidelines of June 2021, consent is required before storing or reading information on a visitor's device, with a narrow exception for what is strictly necessary to deliver a service the visitor asked for.

This site stores nothing at all, so neither the rule nor its exception comes into play. The pages are static files. They are delivered, they render, and nothing of you remains afterwards.

If that ever changes, this page changes with it and a consent mechanism arrives before the first cookie does, in that order.

03

What is recorded anyway, and by whom

A web server cannot deliver a page without knowing where to send it, so some information exists in transit whatever anyone intends. This is not stored on your device and it is not a cookie.

Our content delivery network, Amazon CloudFront, records what any web server records in order to serve a request and to defend itself: the IP address it came from, the time, the page requested, the response code, and the browser's user-agent string. We use it to keep the site up and to investigate abuse, which is our legitimate interest under article 6.1.f of the GDPR.

We do not use it to profile you, we do not join it to anything else, and we do not sell it. The privacy notice says how long it is kept.

Logs are a record of requests. They are not a record of people, and we do not try to turn them into one.

04

Nothing on this site talks to anyone else

A site with no cookies of its own can still leak you to third parties through what it embeds. Fonts loaded from a font service, a video player, a map, a chat widget, a share button: each one is a request your browser makes to somebody else's server, carrying your IP address, whether or not you click it.

There are none here.

Fonts

The three typefaces are served from our own domain. Loading a page of this site sends a request to fonts.googleapis.com or anywhere else exactly zero times.

Video

Every clip and still is our own file on our own domain. There is no YouTube or Vimeo embed anywhere on this site.

Everything else

No tag manager, no advertising pixel, no heatmap, no session recorder, no live chat, no embedded map, no social share button, no comment system.

The only outbound links are ordinary links you can choose to click: the documentation, the GSMA, a press article and the Garante. Following one takes you to their site, where their rules apply and ours stop.

05

The forms

The enquiry form on the contact page sets no cookie and reads none.

Depending on how it is configured, submitting it either opens your own mail client with the message prepared, in which case nothing reaches us until you press send, or posts the fields you typed to us directly. The form tells you which on the page itself. Either way it carries only what you filled in.

The privacy notice covers what happens to that message afterwards.

06

Checking this for yourself

You do not have to take our word for any of the above, and we would rather you did not.

Open your browser's developer tools on any page of this site. Under Application or Storage you will find no cookies and no local storage. Under Network, reload the page and read the list of requests: every one of them goes to this domain.

If you find something that contradicts this page, that is a defect and we want to know. Write to legal@plumma.it and it gets fixed, and this page gets corrected.

07

The service is a different matter

This page covers this website.

Plumma Connect, the account and console at connect.plumma.it, is a signed-in application. It needs a session to know who you are, so it does set what is strictly necessary for that, and it has its own notice covering it. The two are separate systems and the statements on this page do not extend to it.

Nothing on this website can see your Connect account, and nothing in your Connect account reaches this website.

08

Changes, and how you would know

This page carries the date it was last reviewed, at the top.

A site with no cookies is a decision rather than an accident, and it is one that quietly erodes: an analytics script added for a campaign, an embedded video in a blog post, a chat widget for a launch. If any of those arrive, this page says so and the consent mechanism arrives first.

Questions about any of it go to legal@plumma.it.
