qdr_history
The qdr_history command provides a chronological record of every instance a specific mobile number has appeared in the Query Detail Record (QDR) database. This API is used to establish a "digital footprint" for a mobile identity, allowing businesses to distinguish between established, active numbers and recently created or dormant ones. By verifying long-term activity patterns, it serves as a powerful indicator of legitimacy for risk engines and identity verification workflows.
A Query Detail Record (QDR) is a metadata log generated whenever an organization queries for the correct routing information of a mobile number to deliver a call or SMS. Unlike a Call Detail Record (CDR) which logs the call itself, a QDR captures the intent to communicate. Because these records stem from real-time communication attempts by legitimate companies, a match in this archive of over 70 billion records proves the number was active and genuine at that specific timestamp.
